    1. Thanks, Mike! I hope you’ll keep checking back every now and then to let me know how things are going.

Isn’t our Marketing class awesome? What do you think of the Leadership through Emotional Intelligence class?

Good luck on the cough syrup case! (wasn’t that tough??)

This is great but what is the final MBA certificate (if any) that you get once you have done all the modules? Is it right to say that you have done an MBA or just done all the modules and replicated an MBA? Can the MBA be accredited anywhere?

    1. Thanks, Ziggy. Beyond these individual Statements of Accomplishment from Coursera (or similar MOOC providers), there is no MBA certificate. The idea of the homemade MBA is not about the MBA credential itself, but about learning the same subjects that you would through a normal MBA. I don’t think the homemade MBA would or should be accredited, as the focus isn’t on a credential. That said, I think Coursera is looking at grouping some of its courses together to form mini-programs called Coursera Specializations. Perhaps they will make an MBA-like Coursera Specialization someday soon?

Either way, thanks for the feedback and best of luck with your studies!
